Form builders with automatic reminders in 2026

Which form builders remind the people who have not answered? We checked AllBack, Fillout, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms, Jotform, Typeform, and more.

Artur MkrtchyanFounder of AllBack, Berlin

Few form builders remind the people who have not answered. To do it, a tool must know whom you asked, so it needs a list of people and a link for each person. One shared link cannot tell who is missing. We checked the vendors' own help pages in October 2026, and every claim links to its source below.

AllBack

AllBack is a form builder with automatic reminders. You give it a list of people, and each person gets a personal link, prefilled with what you already know. AllBack reminds only the people who are not done, before the due date, and the reminders stop by themselves. Ask "who is still missing?" at any time, in the app or in your AI.

  • In your AI: AllBack connects to Claude and ChatGPT through its MCP server. Your AI can build the form, send it, and tell you who is missing. Any other AI can make a form as one link.
  • Free plan: unlimited forms and answers, and reminders for 50 people a month. Schools, nonprofits, and communities get the Business plan free.

Fillout

Fillout can email a form to a list and send reminders at a frequency you set. It shows each recipient as not started, in progress, or completed. Its free plan has 1,000 responses a month.

SurveyMonkey

SurveyMonkey's Email Invitation collector sends each person their own survey link. On paid plans, it sends one automatic reminder per collector to people with no response or a partial response, and it shows who responded.

Microsoft Forms

Microsoft Forms emails the owner about 16 hours after an invited person does not respond, and the owner clicks "Send Reminder". It works only for forms sent by email, not for forms shared as a link, and it does not run on a schedule. How Microsoft Forms reminders work.

Jotform

Jotform's "Reminder Email" sends a reminder to the addresses you enter, daily, weekly, or monthly. Jotform support says it cannot send emails only to people who did not submit. It also says there is no direct way to see who has not responded.

Typeform, Google Forms, and Tally

  • Typeform has scheduled automations for contact lists on higher plans, but no documented reminder for people who have not answered.
  • Google Forms has no built-in reminder. Add-ons and Apps Script can send emails. How to send reminders in Google Forms.
  • Tally documents no reminder feature. Its free plan has unlimited forms and submissions.
